Effortless Calls Making Calls from Your PC with Phone Link
Tired of reaching for your phone? Phone Link lets you make and receive calls directly from your Windows PC. This feature uses Bluetooth, allowing you to manage your calls with ease, whether you have an Android or iPhone.
To get started, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your PC and your phone. Then, open the Phone Link app on your PC and select the 'Calls' tab. You can search for a contact by name or number, or use the dial pad to enter a number directly. Once connected, you're ready to make and receive calls without touching your phone.
Android vs. iPhone Making calls from Android and iPhone Devices
The process is nearly identical for both Android and iPhone users, but you'll need to grant necessary permissions the first time you use the calling feature on your Android device. When prompted, select 'Allow' to grant Phone Link access.
After allowing access for your Android device, you're ready to go. For either device, simply search for a contact or dial a number, and Phone Link will handle the rest, allowing you to make calls from your computer.
During a Call Keypad, Muting, and Recent Calls
Need to enter numbers during a call? Access the keypad by selecting the dropdown menu. The keypad allows you to interact with automated phone systems.
You can mute a call using the mute button on your PC or your Android device. However, when a call is transferred to your Android device from your PC, you can only mute from the phone. Similarly, if a call is already in progress on your Android, you can't mute it from your PC.
To view your recent calls, go to the 'Calls' tab in Phone Link. Your recent calls are displayed, up to the last 90 days.

Important Note Emergency Services and Limitations
While you may be able to call emergency services using Phone Link, it's not a substitute for a primary telephone service. Phone Link calls may be disrupted due to technical issues like power outages or Bluetooth connection problems.
Phone Link is not designed to support emergency calls to hospitals, law enforcement, or other emergency services. Always rely on your primary phone service for these calls. This feature is designed to enhance your existing communication options, but it's not a replacement for essential services.
