Manual Uninstalling Sync: Removal (If Other Methods Fail)

If the standard or full uninstalls fail, or you encounter errors, use the manual method. This ensures complete removal.

Windows:

1. Confirm Sync is not in use: Click the Sync icon in the system tray, click the settings cog, and select 'Quit Sync'.

2. Run the Full Uninstaller: [Link to Windows uninstaller].

4. Delete Folders: Delete Sync.Logs and Sync.Config folders. Go to Start and type %appdata%, then press Backspace to go up one folder level. Double-click 'Local' and delete Sync.Logs and Sync.Config. [Image: Sync.Logs and Sync.Config folders.png]

5. Reboot your computer and confirm removal.

macOS:

3. Remove App in System Settings: Go to System Settings > General > Storage. Select the ⓘ info icon on Applications. Locate Sync, and click Delete.
