Important Update Password Saving Changes in Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge has streamlined its password-saving process. While the 'Automatically save passwords' setting has been retired, Edge will now prompt you to save passwords whenever you enter new credentials.
This means you'll receive a prompt to save your username and password each time you log in to a new website within the Edge browser. Your previously saved passwords remain readily accessible.
How to Save Saving Passwords in Edge
When Edge detects a new password entry, you'll see an offer to save your credentials. Select 'Got it' to confirm the save. You can also edit the details before saving.
To dismiss the offer, click the 'X' to ignore and Edge won't save, but will prompt again on the next entry. Select 'Never' to prevent Edge from saving passwords for a specific website.

Managing Passwords Viewing and Managing Your Saved Passwords
To view and manage saved passwords, go to 'Settings and more' > 'Passwords' > 'Settings.' Here, you can toggle 'Offer to save passwords' on or off.
To see your saved passwords, navigate to 'Settings and more' > 'Settings' > 'Profiles' > 'Passwords.' To clear saved passwords, go to 'Settings and more' > 'Settings' > 'Privacy, search, and services' > 'Clear browsing data' and select 'Passwords'.
