Save New Passwords in Chrome
Chrome makes saving new passwords easy. When you enter a password on a website, Chrome will prompt you to save it. Simply click 'Save'.
To preview the password before saving, select 'Preview'. If the username is incorrect, you can edit it before saving. Similarly, you can edit the password before saving it.
Manually Adding Passwords
You can add passwords manually in Chrome:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click the three dots (More) and select 'Google Password Manager'.
3. Click 'Add'.
4. Enter the website, username, and password, then click 'Save'.
Controlling Password Saving Preferences
Chrome offers to save passwords by default. You can easily toggle this setting:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click Profile Passwords.
3. Navigate to Settings.
4. Toggle 'Offer to save passwords' on or off to customize your preference.
Managing Declined Sites and Apps
If you choose not to save passwords for a site or app, you can manage them:

If you've previously saved a password in Chrome:
1. Go to the website's sign-in form.
2. Chrome automatically fills in your info if you only have one saved login.
3. If you have multiple logins, select the username field and choose the right one.
Adding Notes to Passwords
You can add notes to remember account details:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click Profile Passwords.
3. Select the password and click 'Edit'.
4. Add your note and click 'Save'. The note has the same security as your password.
Managing Saved Passwords (Show, Edit, Delete, Export)
You can manage your passwords through the Password Manager:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click Profile Passwords.
3. To show the password, select the password and click 'Show password'.
4. To edit it, click 'Edit'. Make changes and then click Save.
5. To delete it, click 'Delete'.
6. To export your passwords, navigate to Settings and click 'Download file' next to 'Export Passwords'.
Deleting Password Manager Data
You can delete your Google Password Manager data from settings:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. Click Profile Passwords and select Google Password Manager.
3. Navigate to Settings.
4. Select 'Delete data' next to 'Delete all Google Password Manager data'.

Checking Compromised Passwords
Check for compromised passwords:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
