Tired of constantly reaching for your phone? With Phone Link, you can make and receive calls directly from your Windows PC. This feature utilizes Bluetooth, allowing you to stay connected without picking up your Android or iPhone. Here's how to set it up.
Prerequisites: Ensure your PC and Android/iPhone have Bluetooth enabled. The devices must also be within Bluetooth range.
To make a call:
1. Open Phone Link.
2. Select 'Calls'.
3. Search for a contact in the 'Search your contacts' box or use the dial pad.
4. Click the 'Dial' icon to initiate the call.
Android Permissions for Devices
The first time you use the calling feature on your Android device, you'll be prompted to grant Phone Link the necessary permissions. Allow these permissions so Phone Link can access and display information from your phone.
These permissions are essential for enabling the call functionality. Ensure you grant them to ensure the feature works flawlessly.

iPhone Making Calls from Your PC with
Even if you have an iPhone, you can take advantage of the calling feature. As long as your iPhone is within Bluetooth range, you can make and receive calls through your PC. The steps are similar to the Android setup.

Muting Calls
Mute calls using the Mute button on your PC or your Android/iPhone.
When you start a call on your PC and transfer it to your Android/iPhone, you can only mute from your phone. Similarly, if a call is in progress on your phone, you cannot mute from your PC.

While Phone Link *may* allow you to call or receive calls from Emergency Services, it is not a replacement for your primary telephone service.
Phone Link calls may be disrupted due to power issues, Bluetooth connectivity problems, or other technical failures. It may not be required to provide access to emergency services by any local or national rules. Phone Link is *not* intended to support or carry emergency calls to hospitals, law enforcement agencies, or other emergency services. Always rely on your primary phone service for emergency calls.
