Recording a New Greeting Step-by-Step Instructions
When using Chrome or Firefox, you can record a greeting up to 3 minutes long. Safari recordings are limited to one minute. Note: Recording a new greeting is not supported with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Callers on Internet Explorer will hear the default greeting.
To record a new greeting:
1. Go to voice.google.com on your computer.
2. Click Settings (top right).
3. Click Voicemail (left).
4. In the 'Active greeting' section, click 'Record a greeting'.
5. Click Record, record your greeting, then click Stop.

To use a greeting you've already recorded or switch back to the default greeting, follow these steps:
