Disabling Recent Searches Step-by-Step Guide

To disable recent searches, follow these steps:

1. Launch Microsoft Edge and ensure you're using the latest version.

2. Click the Ellipsis (...) icon and select 'Settings'.

3. In the left sidebar, choose 'Privacy, search, and services'.

4. Scroll down and select 'Address bar'.

5. Locate the setting 'Show me search and site suggestions using my typed characters' and toggle it to 'Off'. This will disable suggestions based on your typed characters (recent searches) but will still show suggestions from your favorites and history.

Complete Site Suggestion Turn-Off Removing All Suggestions

To completely disable all site suggestions, including those from your history and favorites, do the following:

1. Navigate to the 'Address bar' settings as described above.
